Fiberglass Mesh For Resin-Bonded Grinding Wheels
Fiberglass Mesh for Resin-Bonded Grinding Wheels is a high-strength reinforcement fabric specifically engineered for resin-bonded grinding wheels, cutting discs, and abrasive products. It is embedded into the abrasive compound during the molding process to provide structural reinforcement, prevent wheel breakage at high rotational speeds, and improve impact resistance and burst strength.

GALAXYFIBER Fiberglass Mesh is made from alkali-free glass fiber yarn woven into a leno structure and coated with a specialized phenolic resin. It offers excellent compatibility with phenolic and epoxy binders used in abrasive manufacturing. Supplied as pre-cut round discs or rolls, it is ideal for cutting wheels, grinding discs, flap discs, and diamond grinding wheels.
- – Reinforces grinding wheels to withstand high rotational speeds and centrifugal forces without rupture.
- – Specially coated for strong bonding with phenolic and epoxy binders used in abrasive manufacturing.
- – Withstands the curing temperatures of abrasive products without degradation.
- – Absorbs mechanical shock during cutting and grinding operations.
- – Maintains shape and strength during molding and curing.
- – Ensures consistent resin penetration and even reinforcement throughout the wheel.
- Pre-Cut Disc Accuracy – Round discs are precisely cut to match common wheel diameters, reducing waste and labor.
- Cost-Effective – Extends wheel life and reduces breakage-related losses.
